Woman of Valor began as a combined fansite and fanlisting. The fanlisting is closed as of June 2008, but the fansite component is still alive and kicking. AIR is one of the few games/animanga that I like every character. Misuzu is my favorite amongst the cast, but Haruko is such a wonderful character. She may seem laidback and ever-cheerful, but she is truly a troubled person inside. She made some really stupid mistakes in her life, even accepting her living situation with Misuzu passively. However, like the name of the site suggests, she gathered up all the courage she had in her and tried to do something before it was too late. The story the mother and daughter share in AIR is so beautiful, and it makes me wish more fictional works would explore the bond a child and parent share together.
